Service equipment barriers for backed main breakers

I found only square d manufacturing barriers for their backed main breakers . How do you protect breaker terminals in other manufacturer’s panels?



230.62(C) Barriers. Barriers shall be placed in service equipment such that no uninsulated, ungrounded service busbar or service terminal is exposed to inadvertent contact by persons or maintenance equipment while servicing load terminations.

Are you trying to retrofit something? All manufacturers are furnishing service terminals protectors now for new products. For example look at page 3 below.

It’s common around here to provide 100 amp backed breaker for plp panel, store or other panels that have a service conductors going to backfed breaker

What is a PLP panel?

Since almost all loadcenters manufactured today are main lug/main breaker convertible I think the manufactures want yo to use the main breakers they offer for the loadcenter.
