Attached sketch shows one set of service entrance conductor from POCO tap transformer to service entrance rated fire pump controller ATS breaker all in one with grounding electrode system. Bkr #2 and Bkr #1 are sized per NFPA 20, 115 percent of fire pump motor full load of 172.5A. The fire pump is 208V, three phase, 50 HP. Right side of sketch shows layout CT and meter outside building wall and service rated fire pump ATS breaker all in one in building along with fire pump. The sketch also shows generator, generator breaker Bkr #3, cables Ser #1, Ser #2, Ser #3. In the fire pump controller ATS breaker all in one their is locked rotor protection device shunt trip set at 6x FLA of fire pump motor full load amps.
The question is between CT/meter and service entrance rated Fire Pump controller ATS breaker all in one is additional service disconnect needed or the 200A Bkr #1 inside fire pump controller ATS breaker all in one can be service disconnect?
