I was reading thru NEC 2014 but did not find a section which might say service equioment attached to or next to building are considered part of the building and so are the grounding electrode system.
Just FYI I have switchboard serving multioccupancy building outside next to the building and has gnd electrode system with incoming utility. The swbd has feeder breaker going into one of tenant panel inside and does the panel required to be grounded 250.32 or is the swbd and electrode considered part of bldg?
I was thinking of scenario where you have incoming electric utiity to outside trough with grounding electrode system. The trough has miltple disconnect feeding multi tenant panels space. I dont see those panels grounded 250.32.
