Hi,
Retail application. Question regarding neutral from 480v fused service disconnect to downstream transformer (480V side of 480V to 208/120V xfmr). Do I need to provide neutral? Thank you!

Even if you ran a neutral for the primary with a standard delta/wye transformer there would be nothing to connect it to.

Thank you! How about from the fused service disconnect upstream to utility transformer? Do I need a neutral there or is it per utility company? Thanks!
From the utility service point to the service disconnect you must run a neutral, because it is part of the fault clearing path and the Main Bonding Jumper to it is used to create the EGC system downstream of the service disconnect.

Cheers, Wayne

Thank you! And I don’t run ground from utility xfmr secondary to my fused service disconnect switch, but run ground from my fused service disconnect to downstream 480 to 208/120 xfmr, correct? Thank you!
