Service Height over patio cover?

HI! This is my first posting here; I am in Oregon, looking at an upcoming service change. However, a patio cover has been built in front of the service, heading toward the utility pole. Now I am most used to being able to use 230.24 (A) Exception no.3, Stating that I can keep my mast penetration to a maximum height of 3 feet without having to add a Guy Kit, so long as the service conductors do not pass over the roof for longer than 6 feet horizontally.

My question is, based on the attached photo, will this patio cover that cannot be walked along without damaging it allow me to keep following 230.24 (A) Exemption NO 3? Or will I need to go up to 8ft 6in as required by 230.24 (A)? Any help would be appreciated.
