Does the NEC define the terms service, line, and load gutters? What are the correct definitions?... My understanding is as follows: Power utility service wires -> service gutter -> main disconnect(s) -> line gutter -> panelboard(s) -> load gutter. But I have seen different electricians label them differently in the field. Thank you.

I have never heard any of those terms.

None of those terms are in article 100 of the NEC.

I would call any and all raceways on the line side of the service disconnecting means as service raceways.

On the load side of the service disconnect they would be feeders.

Service and load conductors can be in the same gutter... including an auxiliary gutter.

If what you are calling a gutter is technically a wireway, then they cannot.

Considering the OP did not ask about what conductors could be in these gutters or raceways it seems your post is just a way to push your own agenda.
