Between the 200Amp main disconnect and the house main....do i have to pipe this wire or may i used sheathed cable. I basically have no room to pipe in the wire, and wanted to know if i can feed the wire down out of the 200amp disconnect outside going down the house then coming back up through the wall... Any help would be appreciated..thanks

If using a cable assembly instead of conduit, you will have to ensure protection from physical damage. If using NM cable per Article 334, protection must be installed in accordance with 334.15(B), if using SE cable refer to Article 338.10(4).
