according to 550.32 (A) The service mast cant be installed directly on mobile home unless it came from factory installed but around here they do it all the time on double wide but not single wide. Even looked at single wide the other day and owner said the inspector said could install mast on trailer, He said inspecter also said drop could go across top of trailer since utility is on other side, as long as drop was 3 ft above ridge. The code says the roof has to have a rise not less than 4 in 12 to do this but the trailer is only 2 in 12. Code also says service must also be on pole within 30 ft of mobile home. Im not talking about manufactured home which is 550.32 (B) Do you think inspectors are letting people by or dont know code ? Or am I reading the code wrong
