I have 3 electrical panels all with the same panel designation, all 3 are coupled together side by side with 4" chase nipples.

Are the chase nipples considered raceways that would require my neutral conductor to pass through the same chase as my phase conductors?

What I find at best seems a bit ambiguous.

Yes the chase nipples are raceways. Read art. 300.3(B)

I would also see art. 230.7 and see if it applies.
