I have utiltiy transformer feeding ats and fire controller, fire pump disconnect and fire pump. I need to do system ground for this but not sure where to put it since Ats fire controller is the first thing coming from utility transformer. Nec 250 handbook exhibits show panelboards as systemgrounding but what to do in my case? Do fire pump controller ats come as service rated to place system ground or should it be placed on disconnect after ats fire pump controller? The question doesn't ring any bells with me. If you don't get any responses, tell us what you are trying to do.

This response is totally not related to what i am asking.... my question is more to with where to put system grounding in fire alarm ats panel? If so there such a rhing as fire alarm controller ATS service rated?Yes. It's called a "battery".
Seriously, who asked you this question? Unless someone confused "fire alarm" with "fire pump". You can put a fire alarm on an Article 700 emergency generator if you want, but in most jurisdictions you don't have to. The minimum design standby for a fire alarm panel is 24 hours; some older systems were for 60 hours or even more but you don't see that design requirement nowadays.

Does the fire pump controller and ATS come as service rated equipment? What is the catalog number? The controller is the service disconnect. Grounding should be there.

Not exactly. If there is no OCPD between POCO and your ATS, then it must be service rated, because it is then a service disconnect. If you ground the fire ats controller then it has to be service rated. So question boils down to where to ground and if you ground ATS controller then it has to be service rated.

There is no service disconnecting means. It goes from electric utilit transformer to ats/controller for fire pump. Is their a service rated ats/controller for fire oump? Not exactly. If it is your service disconnect there are a few different options for bonding ground to neutral, and doing it at the ATS is one of them.

Yes but did not see service rated.Yes. Because of the restrictions on upstream OCPD, I would think that by far the larger number of fire pump controllers that contain an ATS will be service rated. Have you tried searching for fire pump controllers with ATS?
Does anyone know of any?Yes but did not see service rated.

What UL standard service rated fire pump ats and controller is described in?OK. I did a Google search for service rated fire pump controllers and the first product entry in the list was this:
http://www.hubbell-icd.com/fpcindex.asp
The second product on the page is a service rated fire pump controller with transfer switch and a cross reference to a different brand name with the same functionality.
There have to be many more such entries, if you use a small amount of diligence and internet savvy.
In case you are having problems, try this specific entry (which might be more sophisticated a controller than you need, but....)
http://www.metroninc.com/LinkClick.aspx?fileticket=Y6FEFESnNGU=&tabid=202
Note that there is no specific mention of service rated, it is implied in the UL and other standards referred to in the spec. Sometimes the "service rated" phrase does not show up since it would be a very rare controller which would NOT be service rated, and it would have to be used with mandatory upstream OCPD (also rare.)
