Service riser conductors

What kind of conductors are you guys using in your service riser conduits? Got into a conversation at my continuing education class and I heard all kinds of different answers.

SE, SER, THWN, or XHHW. Could be AL or Cu.

In residential work we use SEU cable 99% of the time, if we did use a raceway it would be AL XHHW whether it's overhead or underground.

Around here its very common to use "URD" which is three aluminum use-2/rhh-2 twisted together. The neutral is two sizes reduced.

In conduit THWN-2 or some other conductor listed as sunlight resistant.
