Service Section or Distirbution Section?

Hi fellas,
What part of the service entrance section (main gear) is determined to be 'service section' and what part is determined to be a 'distribution section'?

If the main gear has a Main Circuit where shall the main circuit be? Shall it be in the 'service section' part or in the 'distribution section' part

Service is normally located in the service tap section of the switch board and bus assembly to the OCPD for feeders. Hope I did not misunderstand.
