Service separations

I've been searching through the NEC and I-Codes for a minimum separation distance between an electrical service and gas meter. I have found info from one POCO stating 3 feet radius from the gas meter diaphragm, but only to building openings. Another wants the gas meter 3 feet horizontally from the electrical service.

Anyone have or know a code reference?

You will not find this in NEC or IEC. It will be in the applicable general building or gas codes. And POCO may add their own more strict requirements before they will provide service.
