I have an existing small commercial strip center that is currently fed from an underground lateral to a 1200A tap box, no disc., and then feeding a meter pack with 6 meters and disconects for the 6 existing tennants. A new tennant is moving in and there is the need for an additional meter and discinnect. This is obviously over the 6 handle limit. Is this legal without installing a new main disc. for the entire strip center? The existing tennants in the building are seperatd by fire walls. All of the existing meter/disc are grouped together.
