We have this 3 phase 3 wire 240 volt 600 amp service it enters the building and into a ct enclosure from the ct to six fused disconnects and circuit breakers all rated at 200 and 225 amps. It has what looks like a 4/0 conductor going to the water line that was at one time the main water supply. The main water supply has been changed and this egc is well more than 5' from where the water supply enters the building. We will be putting a new egc where the water line enters the building floor and installing 2 ground rods and bonding them to the ct box. My question is what else can i do to bring up the grounds to code? The plant is about 60 years old.

Look at the list of electrodes in 250.52.

The electrodes described in

250.52(A)(1) (Water Pipe)
250.52(A)(2) (Metal Frame of Building)
250.52(A)(3) (Concrete Encased)
250.52(A)(4) (Ground Ring)
250.52(A)(5) (Rods)
250.52(A)(6) (Plates)

ALL have to used IF available.
