Service Voltage

I have a customer that has bought a Wire Rope shop and it has a 480v 3ph 200A service. It has a 25KVA 480v primary an 120/240 Delta secondary for another Panel. The customer has all 120/240V 3ph equipment to use.
75A Press
45A press
30A wire spooling machine
17A Test bed
Instead of using transformer to accommodate this would it make more sense to just redo Service to a 120/240 3Ph Service like a 400A

Is it a standalone building? Or part of a strip complex? Most likely, because poco’s don’t like building small 480 volt banks, it is a strip center. If so, the poco would only add a 120/208 bank for a hefty sum.

Its a stand alone building. Going to call Power Company and see if that's an Option.

Is an entirely new 400 amp service cheaper than a transformer and panel?

I'd also look into what it would take to convert existing equipment to 3 phase 480. Might not take much more than rewiring a motor and a control transformer. If the nameplate on the equipment is 3 phase 208/240/480 I can't envision any problems nor much work.
