I have a rather weird situation. I have a long term customer that we mainly do single family home rehabs.
Recently we upgraded the services at their office and warehouse. This building houses 2 tenants currently and will be upgraded to 4 tenants. When we did a site visit with power company to discuss the job, we talked about the following.
One 3 phase 100 amp service and one 200 amp single phase service with a 4 bank meter base. This is a small building and did the load calc and 200 is plenty.

my Selina is they keep asking for (4) services...one for each tenant. Tried to explain the conduit wire and meter base IS the service. The 4 bank meter base allows for billing and metering for each tenant. Also the power company tied to explain same thing and also went as far to tell them t is against NEC and their policy to have more than one service per type..single phase vs 3 phase.
now they are ready for 3rd meter and are requesting additional service yet again. Any ideas how to explain this to them? All we need to do is put a 3r breaker on load side of 3rd meter and feed tenant.
