In the 2012 edition of NFPA 79, article 19.3.1, the minimum ampacity allowed for servo drive system conductors is not less than 115% of the rated input. How do I reconcile this with my interpretation of NEC 430.22, which suggests to me that the minimum ampacity is not less than 125%?

Welcome to the forum.:)

Does the servo drive system meet the definition of a continuous load. by which I mean does the drive system operate continuously for more than 3 hours?

Yes, the servo drive system is in operation continuously for several hours. Can you direct me to the NEC references that exclude such a servo system from the requirements of Article 430.22?
