I've been rewiring septic pumps and repaired it's wiring in many existing systems when swapping out pumps and floats. I'm presently wiring several sewage pump systems w/ low voltage alarms. I'm installing 3/4 pvc conduit between the riser lid where the pump, control floats, and the alarm float exit the tank, and run to the house where I install a non fuse 60 amp pullout disconnect to a dedicated 20A line to a panel. The 2 problems are how to separate the alarm wiring from the 120V at both ends, and how to bring out and terminate all cords from tank. What I've been doing is install a listed ground box @ tank and combine power, and all cords. The other method was to pull cords from tank to a 1" service head , then combine to 120V in a pvc j box on a board. At the house where the disconnect is; I'de install a fs box or "T" in conduit, and route wiring separately; or could install another conduit for low V alarm, from both ends. I don't see the need to, cause i'm installing THHN wire, and is permissible to mix voltages in same conduit; any help appreciated. How do you intsall this system to meet NEC?
