Shading Percentage for PVwatts

Assinment on PV101 on SEI is asking me to use a previous Solmentric sunny shading analysis for entering Shading in PVWAtts. I did not see in the book were it say how to figure out shading for PVWatts.
It has an Annual Solar access of 92%
may-oct- 94%
nov-apr 89%

PVwatts says 1% is based on pv with almost no shading. So is the shading for this 100%-92%
so 8% shading?
