....and your question is.....?
Would a bosun chair be the best way?
yes we will be able to get conduit in. curious..install a lot slower in shaft and chair? The fact that your opening is only 2'X4' your only choice will be a bosun chair. Can you even fit in 10' lengths of conduit into the shaft with such a small hole?

dont know...it was hard for us to see clearly in shaft..Well certainly slower than when you have access on every floor but two 4" runs 6 floors isn't a whole lot of conduit. DO you need to drill supports into the concrete? Drilling from a hanging chair or harness is challenging because it's hard to apply pressure to the drill unless there is something in front of you to tie off to.

Have to run (2) 4" conduit up shaft about 6 floors. Shaft is about 8'x10'. Thinking only way to do this is bosun chair and not scaffolding. Only access into is stairwell that has an access door about 4'x2'. Thanks.
what are those requirements? heard of them.Confined space requirements?
no emtRigid conduit? That will be a bear.
we were thinking very difficult.Which conditions do you think this work falls under?
Normal Installation Conditions– When all of the conditions associated with the installation of an item will permit the maximum productivity of the electricians on a project
Difficult Installation Conditions– When one or more of the conditions associated with the installation of an item will permit less than maximum productivity of the electricians on a typical project
Very Difficult Installation Conditions– When one or more of the conditions associated with the installation of an item will permit substantially less than maximum productivity of the electricians on a typical project
its for fiberWhat size conductors? There maybe an issue with 300.19.
As far as the labor, one step above very difficult conditions.
