We have a LV project and have installed LED lighting in an existing home. The home was rewired years ago. Can a shared neutral on the system affect the LED dimming? Could it cause flickering?

Lots of things can cause flickering in LED lighting, depending greatly on the design of the dimmer used and the LED fixture or LED screw in replacement. There have been some other threads on the subject that suggest that there is a big variation among manufacturers and between their old and new product, and that even a combination of LED luminaire and dimmer tested and approved by one or the other will not always work. A shared neutral just increases the chance of electrical noise from one circuit affecting another.
