sharing & sizing comon grouding conductors

Can a common gronding conductor by shared with several single phase 480v circuits ? Example (3) 480v single phase site lighting circuits are run to a comon UG splice box. Can they share a comon ground from the box back to the panelboard? If so how is it sized?
