Is it typical to use shielded cable for CT and/or PT secondary wiring? I'm working on a design for a small substation and would like to get a better idea of when it's best practice to use shielded cable. Thanks!

I don't know what the code states but in all my 46yrs in the field I have never seen shielded cable in this application or any problems caused by not using it.

Shielded is typically used in extra high voltage substations (230kV and up), and sometimes in lower voltage subs for cap banks.
