shocking jewerly cases

ILL try to explain this i had a service call guy tells me hes being shocked by this jewerly case the cases have a light in each one a ballast box in the bottom of each one.all of these cases are bolted down they have put 4 sq boxes mounted where you cant acess them and fed from one box to another with rubber cord and twist locks and they have fed the male cord caps hot just trying to figure out which case is hot i put a meter from one case to another reading 120 volts .The only metal in this case is the ballast box j box and some metal trim around the edges thats hot to the rest of it is wood.

There is a connection loose between the two display cabinets.

If installed by code then they are removeable or moveable to comply with the "accessable" clause.

The occupants are not gonna be happy, but they will have to empty the casses to the safe for you to finish your job.

Then you have to pick up the cases to get to the offending boxes. You will find your problem there.

yall thats what i told the manager of the store he wasent happy but i need to find which cabinet has the problem there are 10 cabinets there in a circle shape and the 4 sq boxes are screwed under the cabinet with the opening looking towards the ground with a 1/2 nipple from the ballast box to the 4 sq box and what about the male cord caps being hot so when you un plug it the prongs are hot my boss called it a dead man cord.very dangours...
