Could someone let me know it I have this correct please?

If I'm sizing my breaker (Inverse Time Breaker) for a feeder to two single phase motors, I take the FLA of the largest motor and multiply by 2.5 (From Table 430.52). Then add that to the FLA of the second motor and at this point, I choose the next standard size breaker below that value. Is this correct?

Close.I think the Code actually says the OCP size of the larger + the FLA (Table value) of the smaller
(should give you roughly the same answer...)

Thanks for the reply augie47. I was thinking they were one in the same for a while there, then I realized the difference. With the example I was looking at online, it just so happens that the 250% of the FLA turned out to be a standard breaker, hence my confusion.
