I have a customer who has a 2" emt conduit running between 2 buildings underground. There is only comm cabling in the pipe which includes a fiber line, 4 RG6 coax (95%) copper braid, and 4 18/3 shielded stranded cables.
The coax is for CCTV and so is the 18/3, everytime they have a lightning storm they blow either some of the cameras or the DVR or both. They have surge protection on the camera end coax cable but not the DVR end.
Any Ideas??
