Should additional appliances calculated at 100%????

We are adding a electric range and dryer to an existing residential unit. When using the Optional Electric Load Calculation, are the range and dryer part of the "general calculated load" (100% of the 1st 10kva plus 40% of the remainder)? See NEC 220.82B. Or are the range and dryer calculated as 100% of the nameplate just like an a/c unit? Please reference a NEC article.
