Shower ceiling light

There is an open between the service panel and shower ceiling light. There is continuity between the service panel and the neutral lead to the light. Is it OK to run a jumper from the hot wire servicing the adjacent bathroom ceiling light to the shower ceiling light receptale? I figure for a 100 watt bulb the added load on the circuit would be 8/10 of an amp (100/120=.83).
