Sideways GFCI's, Rotating Receptacles

Does anyone still make the GFCI receptacles with the sideways direction? I have seen a few of them out and around but never in the stores. Has a standard receptacle been made sideways?

I have seen rotating receptacles advertised but never seen any in use. They seem like they may be problematic. Has anyone tried them?

Thinking of the old problem of angle head plugs. I like the low profile of an angle head but the inconvenience of 2 of them is crazy.

A house that was wired 2 years ago, had the rotating receptacles installed. Don't know brand. High $$ house, so I would think that the owner did some research on them first.

The only ones I've ever seen are used ones in existing installations. I've never seen a new one.
