Those numbers make intuitive sense to me, and thus I think you have perhaps just shown why there should be no cause for concern. But it really comes down to understanding the standard - UL and manufacter's - that the product is supposed to be built to. Pressure contacts, pressure terminals, soldered connections on circuit boards, wire, etc... they are all going to have their own standard to meet, and those are mostly not available free and unpirated online. (UL standards are not, for example). You can't just google random engineering methods on the internet and apply them willy nilly.
