Siemens new Copper bus looks just like aluminum.:happyno:
I should have checked for the CU in the part number before purchasing from Lowe's or better yet just purchased from my supplier. The funny part is that there was an insert with the panel that advertised copper bus.

Previously returned item with wrong product in the box?? You have to watch for that kind of thing at big box stores more so then at supply houses.

Looks like someone tried to drill through the bus.:slaphead:

I've sawed GE copper buss bars just for the heck of it. Basically it was a thin copper strip with mounds of tin around it. BUT... IMO its all trivial. Be it a Copper, Aluminum, pure tin/gold/ect, ect its trivial. As long as the breaker makes good contact in typical dwelling units it should not matter.
