From what I understand Siemens, & Cutler - Hammer, both started building a UL "Classified" replacement breaker for SQ D QO breakers after SQ D started manufacturing the Homeline panel & breakers unless there is a significant price difference between the 2, IMO your better off using OEM SQ D QO breakers and you get the Visi-Trip? feature too.

i guess they figured if SQD was going to make a breaker that a homeowner could easily fit in their panel, they would do the same.

i can't remember where it was, but i remember working somewhere a couple of weeks ago and they had nothing but classified breakers in the panel.

I 'D like to know how pm programs are ran. We have system where we do pm on motors every month and to me it seems like a short time to repeat checking and taking vibration and temperture readings. Check for noise and loose connections , clean fan guards.
Quarterly we do voltage, megging, amp readings, which is fine. We have atleast 100 motors from 1 to 200hp motors and every month seem to short a time.
any ideas? thanks
