Sinage for electrical panels

Is there a specific size sign (and letters) to install to identify panelboards and other electrical equipment? I need to identify our panels as to Main Service disconnect, Panel LP-7, RP-3 as such?

Other than job-specific specs, no. If required, I usually use engraved self-stick plastic signs from a local office supply store. 1" or 1?" tall.
