I have one application , where one small motor is running through sinamics s120 drive.It is bascially a motorised actuator.Although there are limit switch to stop the movement of the actuator at the both ends. I need to fix certain torque limit in the drive such that in any position between these two limit , if some mechanical load comes on the actuator, it should not damage.
I have seen in some other drive that if mechanical load increases on the motor, the motor does not trips but stalls and still taking limited current.I believe this is same as what i am looking for, torque limiter. Can someone guide me ,how to do it.Which parameter is responsible for this?
