320 meter with parallel service feeds . We are installing ATS for new generator and limited space. I can only fit 1-3" conduit at bottom of meter can over to new ATS. Is it wise to install 1 conduit or 2 for parallel conductors to ATS

What distance? 24" or less no derating so a single conduit would be easier without have to change the condcutor size.

So then derating would apply but since you said that there is only room for one 3" raceway then you'll need to use larger conductors.

I would probably just install one for something like that. Unless you have a load calc that is close to 400, I would probably just use two sets of 4/0 AL which would be 328 amps which is plenty 99.976% of the time. 2.5" would be fine for that.

Yes, that is allowed. Can be a lot easier to work with.

Could you come out in a single conduit less than 24" long (no derating) with both sets into a gutter, and then come out of the gutter with two conduits?
