Hello All
Another new question. I'm inspecting the construction of a land drilling rig with AC drives.
I do know that on marine installations the requirement is that single core AC cables must be run in TRIADS for distances of 30 meters or greater and all pentrations must be through a non-ferrus material with non ferris glands.
I have not been able to find a simular requirement in the NEC.
Thanks

Take a look at 300.20. It reads about the same, except there is no length requirement. All the conductors have to run together.

Although, I can't tell you if "land drilling rigs" fall under the NEC
