Does anyone know of any sensor that can tell if garage door is open or closed and indicates open or close for single family home?
Liftmaster MyQ. With the app, you can also remotely open and close the door from anywhere. It has a sensor that mounts to the door to tell if it’s open or closed. I have one rigged to my gate so I can remotely open and close, and tell if somebody has released the arm to get in.
I have one of these also and it is great. Going to replace the other opened with this.Liftmaster MyQ. With the app, you can also remotely open and close the door from anywhere. Me! Every time we leave the house I have to go back in and check the iron, toaster, backdoor, etc.Does anyone know of any sensor that can tell if garage door is open or closed and indicates open or close for single family home?
I have a friend who lives in a rural area, and he has goats. He has a gate opener down at the road, and the goats learned to head for the gate whenever they heard it open so they could try to get out. He designed a system that connects to the gate opener that dumps some goat food (whatever that is) out into a bowl up by the house away from the gate whenever someone opens it, so the goats associate the gate opening sound with the food and head for it instead of trying to escape.I have one of these also and it is great. I used the electric gate latch output to run a red led bar that flashes, notifying the gate is opening/closing because it is so slow to open.I have a friend who lives in a rural area, and he has goats.
