single phase 230v motor

I have a 230v single phase compressor someone purchased and the service in the building is a 3 phase 240v center tapped delta I am unfamiliar with the system . My voltages are a/b 240 b/c 240 a/c 240 a and c to neutral 120 but the b to neutral is 208. My question is can I use a and c to feed a main lug panel with a 60 amp breaker to feed the single phase 230v compressor? Is there a special breaker or anything else I should know about?

You can use a & c. You can also use a&b or b&c, but you would need to use a "full rated" breaker and not "slash rated" (240/120) breaker per NEC 240.85
