Single Phase Motor Control

I have a 120v 1phase hoist. The pendant control reverses leads 5 & 8 for up/down operation. The customer wants an upper limit switch (1 N.O. & 1 N.C)for safety.
Can this be wired without the use of additional relays?

Without any further details, you should be able to break the circuit with a switch.

If the customer wants a n/o and n/c set of contacts then you may want to add a safety relay. There are some that have two channels (1) n/o and (1) n/c. And you would break the control circuit through the output of this relay.
