Single - Phase transformer Question

I'm taking a few sample tests, preparing for a state exam, and I need a little help.
A single phase transformer has a 8.67 : 1 ratio. Primary voltage= 4160 . Primary current = 2 amps. I calculated the Secondary voltage to be 479.81.
They are asking for the Secondary Power? There is no motor HP , Amps , or Watts given.

Thanks in advance for any assistance......

Presuming that you can ignore losses internal to the transformer, since they gave you no information related to such losses, the primary power and the secondary power are the same. Take the 4160 primary volts times the 2 primary amps, and you get 8320 watts.

LOL, you have to love the "red herring" of the ratio thrown into the question.

To my mind however, the technically correct answer would be "8320 watts minus the transformer losses assuming a purely resistive load", but most likely they are just looking for the number.

charlie can you explain why the answer you gave was watts and not 8320 VA (I always get confused with this)
