If I have a heated mech room in a commercial building with a gfci work plug within 25 feet, can I put a 2-gang with the service switch and a single receptacle for the condensate pump, or need gfci there also.

Not sure of exactly what you are saying, but if the receptacle is in an area that requires GFCI protection then there is no exception for a single receptacle or the pump.

In a commercial or industrial mechanical or electrical room, I don't see a requirement for an outlet in those areas to be gfi is what I was asking.

Ah, got it.

The is no requirement for GFCI specifically for those areas.

Only if they were somehow wet locations, doubtful, or if receptacle was within 6 feet of a sink.
