Do you guys treat a job site trailor as main or sub-feed?

Construction trailers get feeders, they also are separate buildings or structures and require a grounding electrode system. See 250.32(A)

They are usualy fed from a temp. service, so they would have a subpanel.

My take, correct me if I am wrong is if I run sevice entrance and not metal conduit I dont need sep equip ground. Just need grounding electrode at trailor.

You can not run a 'service' from one building to another. Only feeders.

If you are under the 2005 or previous you may be able to take advantage of 250.32(B)(2).
