Site Lighting wiring

We are retrofitting parking lot fixtures for a community college. Changing the fixtures from HPS to new 315 watt CMH in the parking lots; in side roads from 100 watt HPS to LED. The client wants to replace only the light fixtures and reuse existing wiring and fuses to the fixtures. Existing installation is about 10-20 years old. Will there be any lamp burn outs or failures due to old wiring? Please advise. Thanks.

Why would there be?

Recently there was some failures in Lake shore Drive in Chicago. Changing old HPS with new CMH and LEDs and keeping the existing wiring, etc.

Meg the exsisting wiring if it is OK and sized to the load and VD then I would not forsee a problem.
