Hi Friends, is there any NFPA code or other code to follow for electrcial equipment site hand-over test suh as transformer, MCC controller, generator etc,.? Now I only can find NECA90 Commissioning BUilding Electrical system. Thanks!

Hi Sir, is this code mandatory or just optional for new building factory? From my point of view and some test should be factry test but not site acceptance test such as "Determine long-time pickup and delay by primary current injection" test for MCCB to verify MCCB quality.

Commissioning and testing is a separate item from installing. Sometimes it is done by the same people, sometimes not. It is often a radically different skill set.
