I'm a Florida resident and I recently put in my application to take my journeyman's exam. I called up my local county licensing board and they told me that I'd have to sit in front of the board before I can take the test. Is this a standard procedure for journeyman exams? From my understanding sitting in the front of the board was only for the master electricians exam.

May be a regional thing, or they may have changed it since I got mine. I have a Tallahassee journeyman’s, and just took the test. It’s supposed to be good everywhere in Florida except for the country of Miami.
