Size generator for a fire pump and other loads

We have a project that will have different loads on generator such as a fire pump (200HP), emergency lighting, elevators, UPSs, etc. So we will have separate ATSs for different loads per code. If we size the generator for all those loads, the generator will be huge. Can we use fire pump start status to prevent the switching of non-life safety ATSs? That means when fire pump starts, the generator will provide power to fire pump and emergency lighting only. So that we can have smaller generator. Does any body know if it is allowed per code?
