I installing a 60 amp sub-feed for a sales trailor. I up sized the feeders to # 2 alum for voltage drop. Do I size the ground according to the wire size or breaker size? wire size would # 8 and breaker size would be # 10. I am using a copper bond.

By upsizing the ungrounded from #8 to #2, the EGC must also be upsized in proportionately according to circular mils as shown in Table 8 of the NEC and as required per 250.122(B).

The ungrounded went from #4 to #2. I believe I use 250-122

Yes that is part of it but you have to comply with 250.122(B) just as BPH pointed out.

At this point I have to ask if your an electrician or in the electrical industry?

I am closing this thread, you can PM me if I am mistaken about the DIY nature of this thread.

Upsizing from #4 to #2 is an increase of 59% (66360/41740=1.59)

Assuming a 60A circuit, 250.122 requires a #10 EGC. #10 is 10,380 cm + 59% = 16,504 cm. A #8 EGC would be acceptable.
