I have a 1 kVA control transformer (480 x 120) sized for my contactors, relays, pilot lights etc. I will also be adding a 15A, 120V receptacle, do I need to bump up my transformer size?

How many amps do you intend to supply? Is this receptacle for general use?
I have seen many control panels with interior convenience receptacles protected by small fuses with labels that say how many amps they are limited to.

This will be a convenience duplex receptacle mounted on DIN rail in the control panel. It will be basically used to power a laptop. We typically use a 15A circuit breaker but I have also seen it labeled for Computer Use only with a 3 - 5A fuse/breaker.

Your plan aligns with what I have commonly seen.
10 amp breakers are readily available if that makes you more confortable
