See attached pictures of data from elevator shop drawings, motor table shows 60R (drive HP) - 20A running amp., AC Motor Parameter Set Up table shows 60R equals 60HP. If going with 60HP, per NEC table, motor FLA = 77A. Should I size breaker to protect this elevator based on 60R or 60HP - full load amp.? This is a huge amp. draw difference so as breaker size (if using 2.5 x motor FLA rule). I never heard of drive HP term before. Data sheet does not have information for recommended breaker for fuse protection. Thank you.

Conductors supplying a single motor controller have their ampacity determined as per 620.12(B)
Elevator Motor Controllers (defined in 620) are sized per 620.15 which unless they are marked 'power limited' basically sends you to 430.83 and probably the HP rating is for 430.83(A)(1) and 430.6
